ISO/IEC 27001
An information security management system (ISMS) standard. Formally specifies a management system that is intended to bring information security (IS) under explicit management control, organisations can be audited and certified compliant with this standard. It requires management systematically examine IS risks, take account of threats, vulnerabilities and impacts,  design and implement a suite of treatments to address those risks and adopt a management process to ensure IS controls are continually reviewed.
