The recruitment agency generally filters applicants based on basic requirements, eligabilty to work, qualifications etc. However, more in depth screening of test personnel is often required to identify the perfect candidate.

For example, a criteria may be that an ISEB foundation certificate is required, however from experience, this often omits some highly skilled and very promising candidates.
